Final thoughts

All good things must come to an end. Without noticing it, we've come to the final blog post for the class of UNGS 1201/18. I'm proud to say that I have learnt and gained a lot of knowledge on sustainability, the Sejahtera way of living and sustainable development in general. 

First and foremost, I'd like to use this opportunity to thank Dr. Izyani for being an amazing lecturer. Admittedly, I was a little worried about this class as a lot of my friends have told me about how boring the content can be. However, I found myself enjoying and looking forward to this class at the end of every week. The assignments are also well structured and with clear grading rubrics, so I know what's expected of me. Dr. always responds to my inquiries clearly and patiently too, so the process of learning was really smooth. So Dr., I just would like to say I appreciate your hard work of trying the make the class engage with you, and how you clearly explained the flow of our course. It made all the difference, and I find that I'm ahead of my peers when it comes to UNGS 1201. I hope I get to take a class with you again, Dr.! 

And as for our project video, here it finally is. We from Group 3 hope you enjoy it, and gained some knowledge from it. As Salim reported of Ibn Umar, may Allah be pleased with him, would say to a man if he intended to travel, 

عَنْ سَالِمٍ أَنَّ ابْنَ عُمَرَ رضي الله عنه كَانَ يَقُولُ لِلرَّجُلِ إِذَا أَرَادَ سَفَرًا ادْنُ مِنِّي أُوَدِّعْكَ كَمَا كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ يُوَدِّعُنَا فَيَقُولُ أَسْتَوْدِعُ اللَّهَ دِينَكَ وَأَمَانَتَكَ وَخَوَاتِيمَ عَمَلِكَ

“I bid you farewell as the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, would bid farewell. The Prophet would say: I leave you under the protection of Allah in your religion, your trusts, and your final deeds.”
